Dan Cunningham, Jacqueline Gold’s husband, is now 45 years old.
Cunningham is a Director of West Ham United, where his late father-in-law David Gold was Chairman.
Jacqueline Gold met Dan Cunningham, 17 years her junior, in early 2002, after divorcing her first husband after only a brief marriage.
The couple started their first round of IVF soon after they met, but the fertility therapy failed and was followed by two more failed attempts.
After they got back together, they decided to try IVF again, this time in America, and they conceived in 2009.
Jacqueline, who was in her late forties at the time, gave birth to twins Alfie and Scarlett after seven years of trying to conceive.
Alfie was born with a serious brain defect and died at the age of eight months after getting 24-hour care for alobar holoprosencephaly, a deadly disorder.
Later, in 2010, the couple married in a grandiose ceremony at Oxfordshire’s Blenheim Palace, with their one-year-old daughter Scarlett at their side.
