Fuzzy Haskins was a founding member of the groundbreaking and influential 1970s funk bands Parliament and Funkadelic, also known as Parliament-Funkadelic, and performed with The Parliaments in the 1950s and 1960s.
In 1977, he left Parliament-Funkadelic to pursue a solo career. Fuzzy Haskins began a solo career in the late 1970s, releasing his albums A Whole Nother Thang in 1976 and Radio Active in 1978.
Haskins later joined an ’80s-era Funkadelic revival with some of his former bandmates. However, the singer soon found a new calling as a preacher and began recording gospel music.
