Craig Revel Horwood first wife: Who is Jane Horwood?

Jane Horwood is Craig’s ex-wife. Craig Revel Horwood married his Welsh Caerphilly-born ex-wife Jane in 1990 when he was 25 and she was 30. The pair met when they shared a house in London together while he was starring in the stage show Miss Saigon.

In his autobiography ‘All Balls and Glitter: My Life’ Craig explained: “Gradually, our intimacy developed into a proper relationship. “Jane had in fact thought I was gay when we first met.

“At the beginning of 1990, Jane and I became an item. We resided in a one-bedroom flat in Crouch End, which was very romantic – a bit like Robert Redford and Jane Fonda in Barefoot in the Park.

The marriage didn’t last after Jane was caught with another man. “It didn’t last, mainly because our sex life diminished somewhat and I suppose that led to the inevitable scenario – Jane slept with someone else,” Craig said. “I discovered the affair just before our two-year anniversary.

Jane Horwood’s ex-husband, Craig Revel Horwood is an Australian-British dancer, choreographer, and television personality. Horwood is perhaps best known for his role as a judge on the British television show “Strictly Come Dancing,” where he has been a judge since the show’s inception in 2004.

He is known for his straight-talking and often critical comments, which have earned him a reputation as the “Mr Nasty” of the show.

Horwood has also appeared on other television shows, including “Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two,” “The One Show,” and “The Chase: Celebrity Special.”

In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Horwood is also an advocate for numerous charitable causes, including the British Red Cross and the NSPCC.

He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2020 for his services to dance and charity.
