For his contributions to Canadian theater and movies, Colm Feore has received honors. He received an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from the University of Windsor in 2002, and Wilfrid Laurier University bestowed an honorary Doctor of Letters degree upon him in 2012.
In 2013, he received the Gascon-Thomas Award, which is granted every year to an actor who significantly advances theater, and was also appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada.
Feore received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards’ Lifetime Artistic Excellence Award for Cinema in 2019. His performance in the movie Sugar Daddy earned him the Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2021.
Since 1994, Feore has been married to Donna Feore, a theater director and choreographer who works with the National Arts Centre and the Stratford Festival. He had three children from his former marriage to actress Sidonie Boll, which lasted from 1983 to 1994.
