What to Bring for your TB Test Appointment

Ensure that you reach out to any of the clinics you decide to use to book your test appointment. Let them know that the TB test is for your UK visa application. Note that you may need to wait a few days, sometimes, up to ten days, for your appointment. The busiest periods are between June and September when many people are applying for UK Student visas.

With this information out of the way, here’s what you should bring along for your TB test appointment:

  • A proof of your identification. This should contain your photograph and we suggest that you go along with your international passport.
  • A photocopy of the means of identification that you choose to take along.
  • Test fee payment proof.
  • If you are a refugee applicant, you need to present your UNHCR/MHA registration details.
  • If you have suffered from tuberculosis or any other lung-related disease previously, you should present previous screening details. Also, provide x-ray results and medical notes if you can.

If you prefer to be attended to by a female clinician, we suggest that you inform the clinic while booking your test appointment. Also, if there is a reason for you to cancel your appointment, ensure that you reach out to the clinic as early as you can.
